Uncle Billy has won such awards as:
- Emkay Entertainments' 'Top Children's Entertainer 2022'.
- 'The Murray Wand' Award for showmanship from the Scottish Association of Magical Societies.

Other awards include:
- 'Best Children's Act' and 'Best Stage Act' at a Scottish convention

About

Billy has been a professional children's entertainer for over 30 years. He has entertained at thousands of venues for all types of occasions, including: Birthday parties, Nurseries, schools, playgroups, weddings, christenings, holy communion parties, gala days, hotels, shopping centres and holiday parks.
For seven seasons Uncle Billy was resident children's entertainer at Butlins Wonderwest World in Ayr. As well as entertaining with regular shows, he also presented and organised all the children's competitions.
When the park changed over to Haven, Craig Tara, he carried on as children's presenter for three seasons.

Uncle Billy is also a former "Kyle and Carrick Citizen of the Year" award winner.

He has continued too entertain at various holiday parks throughout the years, performing with outdoor shows in the caravan sales showground and also the children's cabaret in the entertainment complex. Parks have included: Craig Tara, Berwick, Seton Sands, Eyemouth, Auchenlarie, Southerness, Amble Links, Sandylands, Nairn Lochloy, Wemyss Bay and Pettycar Bay.
